Brow Lamination: The latest Brow trend is here to stay!

Brow lamination is the latest in the brow beauty trends and we’re happy to tell you, it looks like it’s here to stay!

So what actually is Brow lamination?

Brow lamination is a quick and easy way to give the illusion of fuller looking brows. Of course, this is great news for anyone with a sparse, thinner brow (AKA ‘the 90’s brow’). On the flip side, it also helps with thicker, unruly eyebrows helping to keep the hairs in place and uniform. Win, win, don’t you think?

How does Brow lamination work?

Without getting too technical, brow lamination is essentially a process in which a perming solution is applied to the brows in order to lift the hairs and create the new desired shape, then the hairs are set into place. During this process the arch can be raised and the tail of the brows extended to achieve that new fuller brow shape you may not have known you could have! Perfect for creating that fluffy brow look.

This treatment is a simple and effective solution for uneven eyebrows, for hairs that grow in an irregular direction and also for thick, stubborn hairs.

How long does Brow lamination usually take?

Great news for all you busy bees, the process takes no more than 40 minutes, results are immediate and can last up to 6-8 weeks. It’s worth noting that a patch test is required no less than 24 hours before treatment.

What kind of Aftercare/Maintenance will I need?

One reason why brow lamination has become so popular is because it’s a low maintenance treatment, simply brush up the brow hairs into place in the morning! While this is a low maintenance treatment, you do need to take care of your brows once you’ve had them laminated. It’s recommended to use castor oil on the brows daily. As castor oil is full of minerals and protein, this helps to keep the hair healthy and strong in between lamination appointments. Simples!
